It seems as though we’ve been asking for this forever, right? You go on a trip take the most amazing photos with that great new camera, get them uploaded and edited…and then you’ve got to figure out how to get them all to your phone to post. Do you put them on Facebook and download? Email them to yourself? Save them to the drive? I must confess I feel like a cliche when I’m sitting on my bed working on a laptop, a phone, tablet and watching tv. If you want to drop at least one device from your posting rotation, Give this a try.
Open up your feed in your browser.
Edit: It seems from the comments on Facebook that you must be using Chrome as your Browser
Click on the little toggle in the top left corner. The little guy that looks like your phone.
Look! It’s the phone app. Sort of. Now you can post a photo.
Now all you need to do is add your caption and your hashtags. Which you can now save on your desktop. Easy peasy!
It is important to note that you can’t post videos, share or see stories, direct message, reply to comments or basically anything that you do on Instagram just like the website, but hey, at least you can get those photos up. And that’s a huge step in the right direction.
Now if they could just fix this friggin algorithm…
